Cette semaine, nous plongeons dans l’univers cr\u00e9atif d’Hippolyte Gobert, un artiste tufting de 31 ans originaire de France, dont les tapis ondulent de formes naturelles et d’illusions d’optique. Bien qu’il n’ait commenc\u00e9 le tufting qu’en mars 2023, Hippolyte a d\u00e9j\u00e0 trouv\u00e9 un rythme dans cet art qui allie expression artistique et satisfaction tactile. <\/p>\n\n

De la curiosit\u00e9 sur Instagram \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation compl\u00e8te<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Comme de nombreux artistes de la sc\u00e8ne tufting, l’\u00e9tincelle d’Hippolyte est n\u00e9e en faisant d\u00e9filer des vid\u00e9os sur Instagram. “Je me suis lanc\u00e9 dans le tufting apr\u00e8s avoir regard\u00e9 des vid\u00e9os de tufting en ligne,”<\/em> dit-il. Mais au lieu de simplement admirer le processus, il a saisi un pistolet de tufting et s’est mis au travail, tombant rapidement amoureux de l’exp\u00e9rience. <\/p>\n\n

“Ce que je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re, c’est fabriquer un objet de A \u00e0 Z, surtout quand il s’agit de mon propre design.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Inspir\u00e9 par les oc\u00e9ans<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Le tapis pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par Hippolyte est un magnifique entrelacement de mouvements organiques et de g\u00e9om\u00e9trie audacieuse. D’une part, il s’inspire du flux naturel des oc\u00e9ans, et d’autre part, il fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux motifs d\u00e9routants de Victor Vasarely, le p\u00e8re de l’Op Art. <\/p>\n\n

La combinaison donne naissance \u00e0 une pi\u00e8ce qui semble vivante – mouvante, changeante et captivante avec ses courbes subtiles et ses lignes fluides.<\/p>\n\n

Le processus<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

La cr\u00e9ation du tapis a pris environ un mois, avec un d\u00e9fi r\u00e9current : avoir suffisamment de fil. “Je sous-estime toujours la quantit\u00e9 de fil dont j’ai besoin,”<\/em> un moment auquel peut s’identifier quiconque a d\u00e9j\u00e0 essay\u00e9 de couvrir un cadre. Mais avec du fil naturel, du tissu tufting de Tufting Europe (un honneur !) et son pistolet tufting AK Duo, Hippolyte a pers\u00e9v\u00e9r\u00e9 et donn\u00e9 vie \u00e0 sa vision. <\/p>\n\n
