Questa settimana ci immergiamo nel mondo creativo di Hippolyte Gobert, un artista di tufting di 31 anni dalla Francia, i cui tappeti ondulano con forme naturali e illusioni ottiche. Anche se ha iniziato a fare tufting solo a marzo 2023, Hippolyte ha gi\u00e0 trovato un ritmo nell’arte che mescola espressione artistica e soddisfazione tattile. <\/p>\n\n

Da curiosit\u00e0 su Instagram a creazione completa<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Come molti artisti nella scena del tufting, la scintilla di Hippolyte \u00e8 nata scorrendo i video su Instagram. “Mi sono messo a fare tufting dopo aver visto video di tufting online,”<\/em> dice. Ma invece di ammirare solo il processo, ha preso in mano un tufting gun e si \u00e8 messo al lavoro, innamorandosi rapidamente dell’esperienza. <\/p>\n\n

“La cosa che mi piace di pi\u00f9 \u00e8 creare un oggetto dalla A alla Z, soprattutto quando \u00e8 un mio design.”<\/em><\/p>\n\n

Ispirato dagli oceani<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Il tappeto in evidenza di Hippolyte \u00e8 un bellissimo intreccio di movimento organico e geometria audace. Da un lato, si ispira al flusso naturale degli oceani, dall’altro, fa un cenno ai motivi che stordiscono la mente di Victor Vasarely, il padre dell’Op Art. <\/p>\n\n

La combinazione risulta in un pezzo che sembra vivo – si muove, si sposta e ti attira con curve sottili e linee fluide.<\/p>\n\n

Il processo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

La creazione del tappeto ha richiesto circa un mese, con una sfida ricorrente: avere abbastanza filato. “Sottovaluto sempre quanto filato mi serve,”<\/em> un momento in cui tutti possono immedesimarsi, chiunque abbia mai provato a coprire un telaio. Ma con filato naturale, tessuto per tufting di Tufting Europe (un onore!) e il suo tufting gun AK Duo, Hippolyte ha perseverato e ha dato vita alla sua visione. <\/p>\n\n
