This kit has everything you need to jump right into making your own rugs at home. We’ve packed it with all the essentials so you can start your tufting journey without any hassle. It’s straightforward, complete, and designed to make things easy for beginners.
Just a heads up, you’ll need to pick up a couple of things on your own: your favorite yarn colors to bring your designs to life, which you can easily find on our website, and a bucket of latex carpet glue from your local hardware store. (we do not sell glue because it is too heavy).

The new AK-V tufting machine
This kit features the newly released AK-V, our latest tufting machine that introduces a new display showing your current speed setting, a front LED light, a more ergonomic handle and it makes less noise. Plus, it’s simple to pick up the basics – we’re confident you’ll be on your way in less than 15 minutes of practice. If not, contact us for tips!
Enough tufting cloth to keep you going
Our starter kit comes with a generous total of 200x200cm high-quality primary tufting cloth. This is the essential tufting canvas for your rug creations. This size lets you craft four to eight medium-sized rugs, providing plenty of material to get your projects underway. Also included is 200x200cm of Ani-Slip backing, which you place on the backside of your rug for a professional finish.
Accessories for making razor-sharp rug designs
Our starter kit is packed with handy accessories designed to simplify your tufting process. It includes a flexible spatula for evenly spreading your latex glue, sewing machine oil to ensure your tufting machine and carving clippers operate smoothly, and a loop threader that’ll quickly become an indispensable tool. Plus, with a rug carver, carving guide, and duckbill scissors, you’ll have everything you need to create professional rugs with sharp details.
