Everything but the frame
Already have a tufting frame, or want to build your own? This kit gives you everything else for your first rug: the tufting gun, cloth, backing and finishing tools, chosen to work together.
You only add your yarn colours, from our wool tufting yarn or polyester tufting yarn, and latex carpet glue from your local hardware store to fix the back of your rug.

The AK-V tufting gun
The AK-V is our newest tufting gun. Its brushless motor runs up to 60% quieter, a front LED lights up your guide line and a real-time speed display lets you repeat your settings. It tufts both cut and loop pile, and with a little practice you are ready to start your first rug.
Cloth and backing for several rugs
The 200×200 cm primary tufting cloth has yellow guidelines every 5 cm and gives you enough for four to seven medium-sized rugs. The 200×200 cm non-slip backing goes on the back of your finished rug, so it stays in place and protects your floor.
Tools for a clean finish
Shave your pile level with the clippers and the adjustable shaving guide, and carve crisp lines between colours. The duckbill shears trim loose yarn ends close to the surface, and the sewing machine oil keeps your tufting gun running smoothly.
